The client needed to transfer information from a Word document to an InDesign file, while also improving the alignment with their branding and enhancing the visual appeal of the document.
In collaboration with a fellow designer, I ensured an accurate transfer of the information. I also focused on organizing the final products, print-ready and interactive PDFs, to be visually appealing and in alignment with the Canadian Tire brand.
I was contracted by ARIES (Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services) at Centennial College to complete this project. In addition to transferring information, several graphs, charts, icons, and images needed to be either touched up or replaced entirely to ensure a polished, professional final product.
The initial goal for the project was to create a 140-page Canadian Tire employee safety manual within two weeks. After delivering it within the agreed-upon timeframe, the client pushed back the deadline due to frequent changes on their end. This turned out to be a positive, as it allowed us extra time to further refine and enhance the design.
